The CHALEWOTE Street Art Festival is an alternative platform that brings arts, music, dance and performance out of the galleries onto the streets of James Town, Accra. The festival includes street painting, graffiti murals, photo exhibitions, interactive installations, a food and fashion marketplace, live street performances, extreme sports, African film shows, street boxing, fashion parade, music block party, recyclable design workshops and much more.
As an art enterprise with a key focus of promoting individuals in the African arts space, STA Africa will be hosting 8 brands which comprises of painters, fashion designers, beaders and others. This move is to give them the opportunity to showcase their works and talents to a wider audience to increase their visibility, to market their brands and get real feedback from prospective customers and also create networks to build extensive connections locally and internationally since CHALE WOTE is an international platform as well with many foreigners visiting.
Our participation vendors include Outphytz, Wear Nation, Fugu Plus, C-kle, Eduwaah Kloding, Teresa Naturals, African BC Collections and Trudyz Outlook. We will use this great platform to publicize our Arts4Good Project and reach a lot of people to make donations to make this project a massive success.
We invite you all to come and experience the real art life in Jamestown this Saturday.
