Legon International Poetry Festival (LIPFEST 2) is here. September 28 and 29 at the Maison Française University of Ghana. Activities: Concerts, workshops on writing and performance, art exhibitions. Book your place in the workshop and exhibitions. Performance: Choreographers, dancers, singers, players of instruments, poets and actors wanted. For poets, send three poems for acceptance. It can come in a foreign or local language. A maximum of two poems can be done. When accepted rehearsal date and time will be communicated.
LIPFEST poetry writing contest is on. Send ten poems not less than a page to firstname.lastname@example.org. Deadline for submission is 26th of September, 2016. Include your full name and contact details to the mail.
Prizes are as follows.
First three winning poets will be given a publishing package in prints and online with souvenirs from Walk The Talk Group. A week long publicity will also be given by STA AFRICA with certificates of participation.
STA AFRICA will be hosting a number of entrepreneurial students at the University of Ghana who are into made in Ghana products and services. This exhibition is to outdoor numerous talents at the university level and to promote entrepreneurship among undergraduates.
